Chris Noeth & James Goguen Post #2

After researching the transmuter, we have found that it is in fact possible to turn metal into gold because with the right reaction, any element can be turned into any other element. We were correct in our original assumptions that it would be possible but what we didn't know is that it could potentially be feasible to accomplish very soon! It is also possible that technology may not even be necessary to accomplish this. It is possible that if scientists can just react the correct elements that they may be able to turn all kinds of metals into gold without even needing a machine like the transmuter although, the transmuter would definitely help to speed up the process if someone is able to invent it. Also, after research, we have found that there are no ethical questions to doing this at all. It seems that turning metals into gold would do nothing but help the wealth of the world.
